When most of us cant get a ticket to the game we just opt for the highlights on TV however when your Flight Lieutenant Doug Larkam and you have a Royal Air Force Rescue helicopter at your finger tips that just doesnt cut it.

You see life long Albion fan Doug opted to fly over the stadium during Saturdays match against Blackpool waving his flag down on the cheerful fans below while flying high with the Seagulls instead.

If only this was a regular trip for football fans of the country. Id pay money for the aerial view. Perhaps were on to a new business venture.

Well their own to be exact. As much as this isn't football related Alex Reid's humor in rattling up opponent Jason Barrett did make me laugh. With rumors rife from ex wife Jordan of what a 'gay freak' he is this was no doubt acting up to it and a great publicity stunt for what many fans of the sport claimed to be a fix in the fight for the promotions middleweight super title.

"84kilos and is angry as hell but looks super calm" poor Jason Barrett was described as moments before the incident. It would appear the commentator may have spoke just a wee bit too soon. Perhaps the likes of Terry, Giggs, Cole and Rooney to name a few should take note and make love on the pitch with their own not off it with desperate women wanting a small fortune out of them.

How much of this contest was a fix we will never know but the look on Barrett's face will always be priceless, would be nice to see a bit more banter on the go in the world of football while there all at it.

Cheerio Fabio, Roll Up Redknapp

Well, not just yet but its odds on at the bookies that once Fabio steps down after Euro 2012 old Harry Redknapp will more then likely be offered the job. Rumour has it Harry is willing to take if if the FA come knocking despite being quoted as saying,“I think you have to be a bit barking mad to take it, that’s for sure". For sure it certainly is.

CHEEKY

England haven't won anything since 1966 so the pressure is as always on for the next man in the firing line to take the thrown as manager. I personally cant wait for Fabio to go and for hopefully a great Englishman to step up to the plate and give the country what we deserve in the footballing world and that isnt a fearful team under short management who always get so near to victory yet fall at the final hurdle. By the arrival of this hurdle I too fall, fall into drunk mode by the amount of drink I have had to consume in rage at the quality of football before me.

Buckleys A Banger

I'm not going to lie, having spent yesterday evening with friends who have season tickets for Albion I'm one very jealous girl. The last two weekends I have had to endure listening to tales of how great the new American Express Fairway Stadium is and what a team Brighton have become.


As for Albions Will Buckley, well what an impressive opener for the season having come on as a sub to bang not one but two goals home just as Brighton thought defeat may be the case for the start of the season after Billy Sharp put Doncaster ahead.

Poyett said, "We tried to steer the players away from the celebrations before the game but when you come out of the tunnel and you see the flags you feel it in your stomach. I wanted to play but I don't remember so much noise from my time at Brighton. When we scored the second goal it was unbelievable and that is us as a club now."

I think a visit up to Falmer is definitely in order
